Permittee Name: a Frei and Sons, Inc. • Pape 2
Permit No: M-77-153
Operation Name: Hazeltine Pit,
Anniversary Date: 02 / 07 / 97
(2) The current lake surface area is 79.75 acres ± which needs no
reclamation. We have completed the below water sloping on an
9, 596 linear feet of lake shore (dashed 6 orange) . There are
5. 30 acres ± of road that will need no reclamation. Reclama-
tion is complete on a section of above water slopes in the
northwest part of the operation (green) . We have noted a drop
in the water level in the lake due to the construction of the
water storage facility immediately south of this site. This
has created more slope that originally planned we are explor-
ing ways to remedy this problem. The reclamation done to date
has been successful.
(3) Mining will continue along the north central part of the pit.
The lower water also means that we may be anle to obtain some
material from the bottom of the pit that we were not able to
recover earlier. We estimate we have two more years in this
area to remove the material left.
(4) Work will continue on the bank sloping and grading as the
year progresses. We are currently talking with inter
ould like to develop the site. If this proves to
be fruitful we may have to make changes in the final reclama-
tion plan. It this is needed we will contact the Division
prior to proceeding.
(5) The current contact for this pit is:
Mr. Albert R. Frei (303) 289-1837
Albert Frei and Sons, Inc. Fed Tar ID 184-OS17799
IIS21 Brighton Road
Henderson, CO 80640
The effective date of all information in this report is
January 14 , 1997 . Please stamp receipt one copy of this letter to
indicate your receipt of the Annual Report, and Annual Fee of
$550.00 for 1994-1995 and return it to Environment Inc. at 7985 Vance Dr., Suite
205A, Arvada, CO 80003.
Respectfully Submitted
ALBERT FREI AND SONS, INC.
Albert R.
