• Disturbed acreage approved under DMG permit remained at 73 acres with a total of 66.7 <br />acres disturbed through 2000. <br />5.2.2 Topsoil Storage <br />No additional topsoil was removed or stockpiled in 2000. At year end the topsoil stockpiled <br />was approximately 75,000 cubic yards. <br />5.3 Reclamation Activity <br />5.3.1 Seeding <br />Minimal broadcast seeding (double the drilled rate) was performed with seed mixture <br />• approved by the BLM and DMG, see Table 5-2. Seeding in October was necessary to <br />reduce weed infestation on spill areas, of approximately 0.5 acres. Figure 5-1 illustrates <br />2000 status of disturbed, reclaimed areas and planned disturbed areas for 2001. <br />5.3.2 Mulching <br />P&A well site 90-5 was hydromulched in the spring of 2000 with an additional 500 lbs./acre <br />to supplement 1999 mulch. Area mulched was approximately .5 acres. <br />5.3.3 Reclamation Fencing <br />Fences were constructed around P&A well 91-2H and 4A-6V topsoil. Fencing is utilized to <br />protect reclamation during establishment and to keep livestock out of the mud pits. <br />u <br />23 <br />
