• d.1.7 Wells Associated With the WRN Proiiect
Well 4A-6V was completed and utilized for injection during June of 2000. Response
was immediate and positive at the recovery well for cavity 4A. There are three active
cavities capable of sustaining production to the plant, cavities 1A, 3A, and 4A. The
recovery well for cavity 4A does exhibit severe plugging across the downhole screen.
This well may be placed on injection, with well 4A-6V, becoming the recovery well for
cavity 4A.
Summary of WRN wells is as follows:
As of 1/1!2001 Seven active production wells
Six shut in production wells and two P&A wells
• Seventeen active monitoring wells
One shut in sonar access well
Two active subsidence/WL monitoring wells
One shut in core hole
One raw water supply well
Cavity 1 injection well 90-5 was plugged and abandoned in 2000. Refer to Table 4-1
for names and descriptions of all existing wells.
4.1.8. Other Activities
The potientiometric levels monitored in the surrounding Dissolution Surface aquifer
monitoring wells provided continuous data, which was used to manage production/
recovery operations at each of the active cavities. Throughout the year injection and
recovery rates were adjusted to reduce and/or maintain monitoring well levels to
• historic levels.
12
