• The total area contained within the four sodium leases or mining unit is 8,222,6 acres. <br />The location of the principle operation is: T.1S., R.98W., Section 26. Figure 2-1 shows <br />the plant site, wellfield and right-of-way access for electrical power, natural gas, <br />telephone and road to the plant site. <br />2.2 Leasehold Status <br />The four sodium leases were renewed by the BLM, June 28, 1991 for a period of ten years <br />effective July 1, 1991. In 2001 the WRN'S leases will be renewed. <br />l <br />3.0 PROJECT STATUS AND PLANS , ~ <br />~~ <br />• <br />3.1 Status <br />3.1.1 2000 Planned Production and Activities <br />WRN anticipated production of approximately t~tons in 2000 from cavities 1A, 3A <br />and 4A. Continuous production and additional "debottlenecing" projects were planned. <br />Increased product storage and improved conveying were to be considered. Additional heat <br />exchangers were planned for the crystallization process to improve plant throughput and <br />thermal efficiency. Drilling of production wells for cavity 2A was planned in year 2000 or <br />early 2001. Additional recoverylinjection wells similar to 4A~V were to be considered. <br />Plugging of cavity 1 (90-5) injection well was planned. A screen was planned for 3A <br />. recovery well. <br />3 <br />
