RECLAMATION ANNUAL REPORT
SILICA QUARRY
LYONS, COLORADO
PERMIT #77361
The purpose of this report is to comply with the Mined Land
Reclamation Act of 1976, Statute 34-32-112 of House Bill No. 1065.
This report follows the outlined requirements found in the Rules
and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board,
Section 3.4 covering the "Notice of Intent to Continue" for the
limited impact operation.
• The permit for the silica quarry located at Lyons, Colorado
was issued on 6-24-78. In our reclamation and mining plan sub-
mitted September 1, 1977, it was stated that 6.5 acres in the
NE 1/4 SW 1/4 Section 20 T3N R70W of the 6th P.M. had been affected.
As of this date, the affected area is the same with no new areas
opened up. No land was reclaimed during the reporting period
6-79 to 6-80. There will be no newly affected land in 1980 as we
will be mining in the area already affected.
~~ ~ ~~
Marvin L. Berg P,E
Quarry Superintendent
.~ Martin Marietta Cement
MLB:Iw
7/8/80
