Dept. of Platura~ ,~;;:.: ;~~~ •• <br />Persuant to your letter of November 16, 1981, we are submitting <br />this letter which is intended to be the "Notice of Intent to <br />Continue Mining Operations" of the Black Cat Pit on behalf of <br />John Frank Triantos, Jr. and Craig Allen Triantos. The mining <br />operation will continue through the permit year 1982. <br />Enclosed is a map showing the boundary of the original permit, <br />the area affected by the mining operation from 1879 through 1981 <br />and the anticipated area to be mined in 1982. As shown on the <br />map, the area affected to date is approximately lj3 of Stage 1. <br />of the Permit or approximately one acre. The area to be affected <br />by the mining operation in the coming year is approximately 1/3 <br />of Stage i of the Permit or approximately one acre (shown on <br />the map). <br />Since Stage i of the Permit has not been mined, none of the area <br />in the Permit has been reclaimed <br />Also enclosed is a check in the amount of $150.00 as Permit Fee <br />in full as required by the letter of November 16, 1981. <br />Should questions arise regarding this Notice or the Mining Permit <br />please feel free to contact either this office or Messrs Triantos. <br />Si cerely; <br />.~~i?~ <br />Jesse J.
