Box 1930
Palisade, CO 81526
Permit No. C-81-091
(b) Area Disturbed - No new disturbance was done.
(c) Area Hackfilled and Graded - None
(D) Area Topsoiled - None
(E) Area Seeded - Approximately 2 acres at the North Decline was
reseeded with the permanent seed mix. Establishment of
grasses and forbs from the seeding done in 1992 has not been
very successful. Shrubs and cheatgrass are the dominant
species in the area. The area seeded was partially
redisturbed for drainage control repair and the remainder was
an area with heavy cheatgrass growth. The area was ripped to
a depth of 18" on 2' centers and broadcast seeded on the ruff
surface. This practice was tried on a small area as a
possible means of establishing desired grasses and forbs among
the cheatgrass. Temporary seeding was done within disturbed
areas as necessary.
Page 1
