Long ' <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 ; <br />Denver, CO 80203 ' <br />Dear Mr. Long, <br />i <br />RE: M-1992-074, Cleaz Spring Ranch Gravel Pit No. 2 <br />The Colorado Springs Utilities herein slibmits the annual report, on your standazd form <br />and the attached Mining Plan map for the Cleaz Spring Ranch Gravel Pit No. 2 in <br />accordance with Rule 1.15 of Rules and', Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board for 112 Permits. All the required information is shown on the <br />attached Mining Plan map. The annual fee of $688.00 is enclosed. <br />During the fourteenth yeaz of operation, no additional acres have been affected in Phase <br />5. No additional acres have been reclaimed. The total affected area is 22.50 acres, of <br />which about 8.89 acres aze currently experiencing some mining activity. Reclamation <br />has occurred in the areas shown on the map. This represents approximately 3.99 acres, <br />which has been top soiled, fertilized and, reseeded. No additional reclamation is planned <br />in the upcoming yeaz. <br />We anticipate that the enclosed report and map meet your requirements.
