I spoke with
Michelle Ramirez of the State of Colorado DMG to confirm this and she asked that I note
this in this cover letter when the renewal map and fee is sent into the state.
The site was formally a site for gold mine dredging. No mining activity is taking place
only the screening of existing stock piles from the former gold mine dredging project.
Upon the current projects completion, the pit will be reclaimed with 1 inch of soil placed
on top of the surface to aid re-vegetation. The reclaimed site will not be held to any re-
vegetation standards.
Please note the included map that shows the current materials handling area and
stockpiles as well as the anticipated area that will be screened into saleable products in
the year 2006.
if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
/~ ~~R~.
Susan Eschen
Compliance Facilitator
970 468 3686
