Please respond to this letter
at your earliest convenience.
General Comments
Overall, the report is well organized and flows in a logical order.
However, a few comments are worthy of mention. Station 76 and Pond B are
used interchangeably in the text without reference to the fact that they
are the same location, and neither is located on the enclosed map.
Station 24 is also mentioned, but is not located on the map. Please
submit a revised map which shows all monitoring stations, including the
pond discharge points. Also, the two effluent sites apparently have
separate NPDES permits. Clarification of this in the text wculd be
he'pful.
MOnitOrinq Frequency
Bedrock Wells
1. All requirements were met.
Alluvial Wells
1. All requirements we r2 met.
Spoil Wells
1. All requirements were met. Please in the future make every attempt
to monitor quality in the spring, rather than t+ao fall samples, as
was the case this water year. (Well 008-77-58).
Surface Water
1. There are no water level readings for Site 304 for April, May,
July, September. Please explain this discrepancy.
