Hidden Valley Pit <br />MLR No. M-98-024 Tax I.D.# <br />Dear Barbara: <br />Enclosed is the Annual Report for the past year for The Hidden Valley Pit of B&B <br />Excavating, Inc., including map and report form. Past records show dhat the annual <br />date for the pit is August 3 of each year. The financial warranty for the permit is <br />$83,155 and the total permit area is 183.6 acres, although Eagle County has limited the <br />10 year operation area to 29.2 acres as shown on the enclosed map. The mining and <br />reclamation plan is not phased. <br />The following information is provided to comply with Rule 2.4.1: <br />(1) Approximately 0.00 acres of new disturbance occurred in the past year. No activity <br />has occurred on the site although some is planned for the immediate future. No real <br />disturbance has yet occurred in the 29.2 acre mine area. [n 1998, the access road was <br />widened to the property and was covered with compacted gravel. Amore-defined <br />inside drainage ditch was also added to the access road. <br />(2) No reclamation could be done in the past year since mining has not yet begun. As <br />soon as this area is completely mined, the area will be reclaimed. <br />(3) For the upcoming year, the sediment sump will first be dug at [he low point of the <br />property and two collection ditches to the sump will be dug. Topsoil will then be <br />stripped and placed along the outside perimeter of the 29.2 acre area as shown on the <br />permit maps. Facilities will then be moved in and mining will commence in the <br />
