ATTACHMENT TO ANNUAL REPORT <br />ST. JUDE MINE <br />PERMIT NO. M-1978-039-HR <br />NOVEMBER 1, 2003 <br />A new mine site map at scale 1" = 100' was submitted to the Division of Minerals and Geology <br />on March 21, 2003. This map shows the site conditions as of late summer 2002 <br />During late fall of 2003, a minor amount of site remediation work was conducted at the St. Jude <br />Mine. This work consisted of repairing the perimeter berms around the top of the waste dump <br />and recontouring the dump surface to contain precipitation and limit runoff Trash and debris <br />around the site were cleaned up, and the access road was graded. <br />hi early summer 2003, after the updated site map was submitted in March 2003, the St. Jude <br />Mine site was resurveyed. Anew site map, based on the 2003 survey, has been prepared to show <br />the present site status. The Operator recently submitted a Request for Technical Revision to the <br />St. Jude Mine Permit M-1978-039-HR in order to clarify the Affected Area boundary and to <br />fully encompass all modern mine related disturbances. This Request includes the updated site <br />map based on surveying conducted in early summer 2003. <br />Upon finalization of the Technical Revision to the St. Jude Mine Permit M-1978-039-HR, a site <br />reclamation map will be finalized and submitted to the Division of Minerals and Geology. <br />No new disturbances within the permit area are presently anticipated during the coming year. No <br />reclamation is planned during 2004, as the St. Jude Mine will remain in standby status pending <br />improved uranium vanadium market conditions. <br />
