Field activities included <br />both morning and afternoon testing of the bentonde slurry at the mixing station and at the trench <br />(stations 16+00 and 16+10). Each sample was tested for viscosity, unit weight, and sand percentage <br />by volume (french samples only). Morning and afternoon testing of the soil bentonite backfill was <br />conducted at stations 14+00 and 14+60, respectivety. Each sample was tested for slump and unit <br />weight Mixing of the soil bentonite backfill was observed throughout the day. Trench depth <br />measuremenrts (both to key and total) were pertomled at stations 16+30 and 16+g0, with a sample <br />collected at station 16+30. Completed trench length for the day was from stations 16+80 through <br />17+30. Test results and measurements are presented in the attached report. <br />• Weather.
