Terracon arrived on-site to observe slurry wall construction operations. Field activities included
both morning and afternoon testing of the bentonde slurry at the mixing station and at the trench
(stations 16+00 and 16+10). Each sample was tested for viscosity, unit weight, and sand percentage
by volume (french samples only). Morning and afternoon testing of the soil bentonite backfill was
conducted at stations 14+00 and 14+60, respectivety. Each sample was tested for slump and unit
weight Mixing of the soil bentonite backfill was observed throughout the day. Trench depth
measuremenrts (both to key and total) were pertomled at stations 16+30 and 16+g0, with a sample
collected at station 16+30. Completed trench length for the day was from stations 16+80 through
17+30. Test results and measurements are presented in the attached report.
