Field activities included both moming and aftemoon testing of the bentonite slurry at the mixing station and aftemoon testing at the trench (station 12+10). Each sample was tested for viscosity, unit weight, and sand percentage by volume (trench samples onty). Afternoon testing of the soil bentonite backfili was conducted at station 12+20. The sample was tested for slump and unit weight. No trench depth measurements were performed today. Trenching equipment was still out of service for repairs during the moming. Two plugs were installed at station 12+63 and 14+50, and both were dug out in the aftemoon. Completed trench length for the day was from stations 16+00 through 16+80.
