Field activities included both rooming and aftemooh testing of the bentonite slurry at the mixing station and at the trench (stations 12+20 and 13+10, respectively). Each sample was tested.for viscosiiy, unit weight, and , sand percentage by volume (rooming trench sample onty).. Morning and aftembon testing of the soil bentonite backfill was conducted at stations 10+20 and 10+30, respectively. Each sample was tested for slump and unit weight Mixing of the soil bentonite backfill was observed throughout the day. Trench depth measurements (both to key and total) were performed at stations 12+30 and 12+g0, with a sample collectetl at station 12+90.
