affected area relative to the drainage basin, this would be a very <br />minor contribution to flow in the gulch. <br />White River alluvial water levels will not be measurably affected <br />by pumping from the lagoon for mine use, due largely to presence of <br />Kenney Reservoir. <br />Subsidence tension cracks may cause several stock ponds in the <br />Scullion Gulch basin to lose some impounded water. The PAP <br />indicates that if visual inspections show that this is the case, <br />the ponds will either be repaired or replaced, and if necessary <br />water will be hauled as a temporary measure during repair or <br />construction. Lincoln Reservoir is located over a room and pillar <br />panel, and pillar dimension and extraction ratio will be altered <br />beneath the reservoir to prevent subsidence. <br />6. 1997/1998 revisions affecting hydrologic impacts and <br />monitoring requirements: <br />TR-43, approved in January, 1997, allows for disposal of prep plant <br />thickener water within sealed mine workings. Mike Boulay pointed <br />out last year, that certain specific findings required by 4.05.16, <br />will need to be included in the upcoming renewal findings. <br />TR-47, approved in August, 1997, eliminated all surface water <br />monitoring, with the exception of CDPS required discharge <br />monitoring. <br />TR-48, approved November, 1998, authorized further reduction in <br />groundwater monitoring requirements. Beginning 4th quarter, 1998, <br />regular monitoring of refuse well RM-1, and several bedrock wells <br />was terminated, and water level monitoring of all bedrock wells was <br />reduced to "annually during the summer". Per TR-48, 16 bedrock <br />wells are now monitored for water levels annually during the <br />summer; alluvial well Qal-5 is monitored quarterly for water level <br />and field parameters, and annually for a full suite list. <br />Monitoring Requirements <br />Surface Water <br />CDPS sampling is summarized on p. <br />surface water sampling was required <br />14 of the AHR.
