Storma•ater storage capacity is in addition [o design sediment
storage and any permanent storage apaaty. Kerr inspects all sedimentation ponds on a
quarterly basis. Inspections include evaluation of accumulated sediment levels relative to design
sediment storage apacity to verify that design storma•ater storage capacity is maintained at all
times. If inspections indicate that sediment accumulations are at or near the design sediment
' level, Kerr removes accumulated srdimen[ from the pond(s) a•i[hin a reuonable period (typially
30 to 60 days) following the inspection. Bo[h pond inspection reports and documen[ation of
pond clean-out are retained at the minesite and are available for inspection by authoriud agency
t representatives.
