The flow of the upper seepage area increased to
approximately 2.0 gallons per minute, while the flow of the lower face
area increased to 0.5 gallons per minute. Total water pumped from the
mine during June 1993 increased from 87,000 gallons to about 108,000
gallons. The increased inflow during the early portion of 1993 could
result from the heavy fall and winter moisture causing increased
seepage into the mine.
Sincerely,
~~- ~°~
Linda Limbach
Eastside Coal Company, Inc.
/11
Enclosure
