DEPT. OF NATURAL RESOURCES <br />According to Rule 2.40 the annual report for the above-named <br />pit was due on the anniversary date, January 28. <br />Economic conditions have deteriorated since the permit was <br />issued, and markets for concrete have dropped drastically. <br />Since there is little demand for concrete, we have not <br />expended the funds necessary to place this site in operation. <br />The land has not been disturbed by the intended mining opera- <br />tion. Again, we hope that the spring of 1983 may see a turn <br />in economic conditions so that excavation can be started. <br />Our intent to mine has not changed. <br />Our check in the amount of $350 to cover the annual fee is <br />enclosed.
