(BMRI) - San Luis,'•/J~ //
DMG Permit No. M-88-112 ~ (,~
Bi-Weekly Water Sample Report ~
May 14, 1993 Sampling Event
Dear Mr. Oehler:
Enclosed are the analytical reports from Core Laboratories
for the bi-weekly water samples collected on May 14, 1993 as
specified in the April 1992 Abatement Plan. The cross-
reference table between sample identification numbers and
sample locations is attached. As specified in TR-006,
calculated free and wad cyanide values for the process point
samples are enclosed.
No deviations from the sampling QA/QC protocols, TR-006,
were noted for any of the samples collected. wells M-9, M-
12, and M-13, the four process points, and RS-5 were
sampled. At the time of sampling, maintenance activities on ?
the leach deck prevented the collection of a pre-detox `
sample. Wells M-2, M-6, M-7, and M-8 and the three
lysimeter pairs were checked and found to be dry. Duplicate
samples were collected at well M-12 for field quality
control.
The initial analysis by Core Labs of the cyanide samplies for ~
the lower pond, the upper pond, the collection pond, amd
post detox showed CN-wad values greater than CN-total
values. The samples were re-analyzed. Both reports are
attached. All cyanide values were below our permit limits.
If you have any questions, please call.
Sincerely,
~tio+~n ~ ~ Cc~A
Alana L.
