During 1995, minor, localized areas of slope instability were noted, con-ected,
and reported in the 1995 Mnual Geotechnical Report.
2003 Observations: Visual observations indicate that the repairs performed in
1995 were successful and no new areas of surficial instability (slips) were
observed from 1996 through 2003. Piezometer TC10375 monitors 'the Tie
Camp Creek Waste Rock Dump. Water levels are stable at approximately
10202.6 feet amsl, with a maximum observed seasonal fluctuation of 6.1 feet
during 2003.
III. Piezometers - 2003 General Comments
The 2003 water level measurements continue to show the normal seasonal
variations in the depths to water (and therefore the thickness of the saturated zone
at the base of the Waste Rock Dumps). Following the-dry cortdi#ions of 2002, the
seasonal variations noted in 2003 were back in line with historic variations. The
saturated zone under the dumps remains thin and similar to previous years.
Therefore, there continues to be no evidence for stability conoems.
Homeatake PRCA Reclamation Protect
2003 Mnual Geotechnical Report
M-1977-004HR
2003RepoRTex1
