Comments
From June 2005 until present, we have continued to mine the same section we were mining the
preyiousyear -which is called the Fort Lupton East Pit. (Since we continued to mine the same
section, and are not finished mining it vet, we did not start mining the north-middle section of the
original area as we had hoped in last year's report.) In March 2006. the Division approved a
Technical Revision for this permit, just to increase the financial warranty (bond) to cover slurry wall
construction and reclamation for the Hill-Oakley and Golden Pits and some reclamation costs to allow
stockpiling/settling~onds in the Swingle Pit. The slurry wall construction around the Golden Pit was
finished in mid-April 2006 and the slurry wall construction around the Hill-Oakley Pit will be done by
early-June 2006 We hope to pet the slurry walls around both of these pits completely approved as
sealed by the State Engineer before the end of 2006 We started mining in the Golden Pit in mid-May
2006 Please see the attached map for reference to the described areas.
` Please show the location of the acreage for items with a' on your map. Indicate the phases of the reclamation which have
been completed, correlated with your timetable. Phased operations: show dates extraction ceased & dates reclamation began.
NOTE: If there have not been any changes since the last annual report and you previously submitted a map which correctly
depicts the curr nt acreage~i~n~ite, m~s/4 through 10, then a map is unnecessary. However, this must be stated above.
Signature: ~~~~4ill Date: 7 D(D
Please supply current ntact name, company, mailing address, phone & fax numbers, and Federal ID below:
Contact Name & Title: Lynn Mayer Shults Reaulatorv Manager
Company and Address: L G Everist Inc 7321 East 88 Avenue Suite 200 Henderson CO 80640

LMlFL-OMGAnn Rpt-053146.doc
