RE: Succession of Operators - Annual Fee, Cherokee Clay Mine, Permit No. M-77-325
Dear Mr. Snook:
The Division of Minerals and Geology is in receipt of an application for succession of operators for the
Cherokee Clay Mine. Until the succession of operators process is completed and your financial warranty
is released in its entirety, under the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Act, as permittee, you are
required to pay annual fees and submit annual reports for the previous years activity, on or before the
anniversary date of November 23, 1998. Our records indicate that the annual fees for the Cherokee Clay
Mine are still due and payable for the 1997-1998 operating season. The succession of operators will not
be complete until the annual fees have been paid.
