McArdle
Mined Land Reclamation
423 Centennial Building
1313 Sherman Street
Denver, CO 80203
Re: White River Aggregates-Your File No. 76-38~
Dear Mr. McArdle:
Pursuant to our telephone conversation today, this is to advise you that
the White River Aggregates mine status is as is shown on the application
which was filed approximately two years ago by White River Aggregates to
extend the mining into phase two of our proposed mining plan. At that
time, the expansion was approved and bond reset at $23,700.00. A map of
the mine in its condition was filed at that time.
The reclamation plan on file with your department has been followed and
topsoil has been stored in the areas shown on the map for such storage
for re-vegetation as set forth on the original reclamation plan. The
successor operator is aware of the storage, storage area and the
original reclamation plan and has agreed to abide thereby under the
successor operator agreement.
As I explained to you, White River Aggregates has done little or nothing
with the pit prior to their association with Frontier Materials. The
pit prior to that had been operated by the State of Colorado. If you
have any further questions, kindly advise.
I am enclosing our check in the sum of $700.00 for the reclamation fee.
If something further is needed, kindly advise.
JRT/jm
Enclosure
cc: Mr. Henry Braly
Mr. Bob Dearman
i-iuiiiiiiiiiiiii
Very truly yours,
KEITH TEMPEL
