Owens
Governor
Russell George
Executive Director
Ronald W. Cattany
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
The Division has completed review of the 2006 Annual Hydrology Report (AHR) for the
Roadside Portals Mine. Please see enclosed memorandum from Kent Gorham of the
Division, which presents an assessment ofhow the data and analyses presented in the
report compare to Probable Hydrologic Consequences (PHC) projections of the approved
permit.
Our conclusion is that the data presented in the 2006 AHR show that the approved
probable hydrologic consequences are reasonable and that impacts from the mine are
within the constraints of these predictions.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerel ,
Daniel T.
