II. SUDUtARY OF RESULTS
::: •
Results of slug testing for the ten wells selected for testing are
shown in the following Table lI-1. From the two most valid test results,
- the transmissivity in the "F" seam is estimated to range between 15.6 and
61 gallons per day per foot (gpd/ft.). In the Barren Member, a wider range
of transmissivities is estimated, probably because two of the wells in the
Barren Member are completed at shallow depths where the bedrock has developed
- more open fractures and has resulted in transmissivities which are high
relative to those of deeper wells. The transmissivities indicated from the
three most valid tests in the Barren Member wells range from 0.40 to 600
gpd/ft.
No transmissivities were estimated for two of the wells tested. Well
SOM 16-H was tested but no water level response had occurred 1260 minutes
after increasing the head in the well by 1.94 feet. In well SOM 45 H-1
only 2.17 feet of water at the bottom of the hole was insufficient to per-
form the test.
Some of the wells tested indicated such extremely low values of trans-
missivity or uncharacteristic responses that the validity of these test
results is questionable. In the summary table these wells are identified
by a question mark (?) in the remarks column, while the most valid results
are shown with an asterisk (*). Detailed discussion of test results and
interpretation is included in Section IV of this report.

s ESA Geo nical Consultants
