Natural Resources <br />Denver, CO 60203 <br />Dear Gentlemen: <br />The following report concerns activities during <br />the last year in the 110 Gravel Pits in Yuma <br />County, Colorado. <br />Yuma County is presently operating out of two <br />pits. The Road and Bridge bellydump crew is <br />working in th 1fAND PIT- nd moving toward the <br />West. The sma er-sca a trucks are operating <br />in the MAY PIT toward the North. <br />The CLARK PIT and SALVADOR PITS were reclaimed <br />and shaped several years ago, so you should <br />have that noted in previous reports. <br />The STATE/MEKELBURG PIT was reclaimed in 1482. <br />The pit was seeded with a combination of grass <br />seed by a contractor of the service in November <br />of 1982. <br />Yuma County has plans to move into the SMITH PIT <br />sometime in 1984 and will be operating in the <br />STATE/MULLINS PIT during the summer of 1984. <br />For any other information, please contact our <br />office at 332-5796 or the Road Supervisor, Red <br />Blazer at 332-5718. <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />Melanie Mears <br />Secretary to the Commissioners <br />
