~. <br />Q~.a-~ 5 <br />RECLAMATION ANNUAL REPORT <br />JUN "`~ ~`{ <br />LYONS QUARRY <br />MIIti~U u:~+~: <br />LYONS, COLORADO :?E'"'' n~~eT'rlni nn~~... <br />PERMIT N0. 77208 <br />The purpose of this report is to comply with the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Act of 1976, Statute 34-32-112 of House Bill No. 1065. <br />This report follows the outlined requirements found in the Rules <br />and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board, <br />Section 2.4, covering annual reports. The permit for the Lyons <br />Quarry was issued on 6-4-78. <br />This report shows the areas reclaimed and the new areas opened <br />• up in the 1989-90 reporting period. The areas outlined in red are <br />the mining and stripping areas which are considered major <br />disturbance. The areas outlined in blue represent stockpile and <br />waste dump areas. The areas outlined in green are the areas that <br />have been reclaimed. The cross-hatched areas are areas where new <br />work was performed during this reporting period. <br />The mining and stripping areas which are considered major <br />disturbance include: (A) 49.1 acres in the east portion of the <br />mine opened prior to 1973; (B) 2.3 acres opened in 1977; (C) 7.4 <br />acres opened in 1976; (AA) 8.2 acres opened in 1979; (BB) 11.0 <br />acres opened in 1980; (EE) 5.9 acres opened in 1982; (FF) 23.0 <br />acres opened in 1983; (KK) 7.2 acres opened in 1985; (LL) 10.5 <br />acres opened in 1985; (SS) 10.5 acres opened in 1987; and (TT) 15.6 <br />• acres newly opened in 1988. All total, there are 150.7 acres under <br />major disturbance in the mining area. <br />
