ANNUAL RECLAMATION REPORT <br />LYONS QUARRY, LYONS, COLORADO <br />PERMIT NO. M-1977-208 <br />2006 - 2007 <br />The purpose of this report is to comply with the Mined Land Reclamation Act of 1976, Statute <br />34-32-112 of House Bill No. 1065. This report follows the requirements covering annual <br />reports in the Rules and Regulations of Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board, Section 2.4. <br />The permit for the Lyons Quarry was issued on June 4, 1978. <br />This report shows the locations of continuing operations and areas in the process of being <br />reclaimed. There was approximately 6 acres of additional disturbance in 2007, and there are 10 <br />to 12 acres of reclamation proposed for the fourth quazter 2007. The azeas affected, and the <br />total acreage for each type of operation are listed below. <br />There aze 43.7 acres of major disturbance: <br />^ Mining, Stripping, and Waste Storage (Section C2) ..................... 43.7 Acres <br />There are 11.9 acres of moderate disturbance: <br />Stockpile/Equipment Storage Area (Sections A5, A9, C1) .............. 7.6 Acres <br />Designated Explosive Storage Area (Section A6) ........................ 4.3 Acres <br />There are 256.1 acres that have been reclaimed (seeded and fertilized): <br />2000 Acre-Foot Water Storage Reservoir .................................. 50.6 Acres <br />Reclamation Complete (Sections Al-4, A7-8, BI-2, C3-6, D1, E1) .... 205.5 Acres <br />All seeding was performed with a dry land perennial pasture mix. <br />Plans for the reporting period from September 2007 to September 2008 include proposed <br />continued reclamation activities as indicated on the attached figure. <br />
