tinue mining.
Delta Sand & Gravel Co.
Permit IIM77-20, Pit II1
Dear Mr. Shelton:
Our anniversary date for this permit is March 23. We mined approximately
120,000 tons of material from this pit in the past year. We continue to
operate in Stage I and may complete mining in Stage I in the coming year.
Mining also began in the upper part of Stage II to create more pit space
so that Stage I could be completed and the transition made to Stage II.
Annual report questions as outlined in Section 2:41 of the rules and
regulations are answered as follows:
1. Approximately 1.75 acres + was mined of the final 8 feet of
gravel in Stage I. Approximately 3.8 acres + of Stage II
was mined to a depth of about 20 feet. (See annual Report Map)
2. Reclamation began on the East and South sides of Stage I.
Reclamation to date involved grading slopes.

7. In the coming year we will probably complete mining of Stage I.
Approximately 2 acres + of the bottom 8 feet of the deposit remain
to be mined in Stage I. Phase I of reclamation will commence after
Stage I mining is completed. Mining will then continue in Stage II
with removal of material from the bottom 8 feet of the deposit in
