ANNUAL REPORT
PERMIT NO: M-86-124
CECIL II GRAVEL PTT
REPORT:
This permit was transferred from Washington County to Popejoy Construction on January 25,
1995.
The site is located on the Arickaree River just northeast of Cope, Colorado. Popejoy
Construction mined a small amount of sand and gravel from the pit in 1996 for use in a nearby
highway project. The mined area was all located in the existing bed of the Arickaree River, and
the pit area was back-sloped when mining was completed.
The permitted area is 9.9 acres. No mining or reclamation has been done during the past permit
year. A map of the permit is enclosed. Reclamation required is limited to minimal grading and
seeding of the disturbed azeas on the bank of the Arickaree River.
We estimate a cost of approximately $5,000 to complete the minor reclamation required by the
permit. Since the bond security is for $7,500, it is sufficient to cover any reclamation costs.
Report submitted October 5, 2004
/yam R
'L~~
Donald G_ P e' y
Popejoy Construction Co., Inc.
