Dept. of Natural Resources <br />Dear Mr. Clayton: <br />A review of our records indicate that your company has failed to file the <br />annual fee as required under 34-32-1I6(1)(a) of the Colorado ;fined Land <br />Reclamation Act. This section of the law requires in part, that: <br />"...except for operators having permits under Section 34-32-110 <br />and operators which are units of county governments, the <br />operator shall submit in addition to the plan and map, an annual <br />fee of $350.00 if the operation is an open mining operation, or <br />$275.00 for any other operation." <br />Based on our records, the anniversary date of your operation is <br />January 23, 1980 and we have not received 1981, 1982 <br />annual fees, which are due, totalling $ 700.00 <br />If your records indicate different facts, please inform this office as <br />soon as possible, otherwise we will expect to receive this fee as required <br />by the statute within the next thirty (30) days. Please include the <br />required annual report to bring the Division up to date as to the progress <br />of the mining and reclamation on the site.
