The wildlife presently in <br />the area would generally include some beaver and muskrat, <br />pheasant, geese, cottontail rabbits, songbirds, and warm- <br />water fish, including bass, which have been introduced by <br />the Kauffmans. <br />I have talked to Jake Kauffman about his plans for re- <br />claiming the area as fish ponds and wildlife habitat, <br />including a recent conversation in this regard. I am familiar <br />with his plans for reclaiming the area and feel that they <br />are appropriate and will provide beneficial habitat for <br />wildlife in the area. <br />I know Jake Kauffman to be very concerned with providing <br />for wildlife in the area and am confident that the Kauffmans <br />will do a good job in making provisions for wildlife in <br />reclaiming this area.
