ANNUAL REPORT FOR OCTOBER 10019EB , PERMIT ANNIVERSARY <br /> BOETTCHER !IMESTONE QUARRY PERMIT NO. M-77-348 <br /> Lari mer COUNTY, COLORADO <br /> IDEAL BASIC INDUSTRIES, INC. <br /> 1 . Location and Number of Acres Affected During the Year <br /> 16.5 acres have been quarried during 1988 , and an ad.ditional <br /> 12.1 acres are in the process of being stripped. <br /> The location breakdown is as follows : <br /> A-Band - 4.5 acres mined, and 5.9 acres stripped or piled <br /> with overburden. <br /> C-Band - 6.0 acres mined, and 2.4 acres in process of <br /> stripping. <br /> E3-Band- 6.4 acres mined, and 3.8 acres in process of <br /> stripping. <br /> 2. Location and Number of Acres Reclaimed During the Year <br /> All cuts are active , therefore no reclamation was dDne during <br /> 1988. <br /> Plans by Larimer County and Ideal for the utilization of the <br /> Boettcher quarry as the County Landfill, have progressed to <br /> the point that the County will conduct its geologic investi- <br /> gation of site suitability during 1969. It is anticipated <br /> that the site will be found to be favorable. Consequently , <br /> since it is anticipated twat the quarry will be ultimately <br /> utilized as a landfill, and reclaimed by that process , the <br /> only reclamation being considered at this time is t.ae <br /> temporary stabilization of topsoil piles where needed. <br />
