~,
Division recommends that sampling for cover and diversity take
place in July or August for best results in accounting for
both the warm/cool season varieties.
3. Statistical demonstrations need to be made on the vegetative
data collection and sample adequacy.
Please refer to Mr. Waldron's memo for clarification of this
issue.
Conclusion
As stated in the memo attached, the Division would be happy to meet
with Coors to discuss the Technical Revision requested. As
vegetation sampling season is nearly upon us, please contact the
Division offices as soon as possible to arrange a meeting. The
Division would like to see Coors positioned this summer to collect
vegetative data that would initiate a reliable record for future
bond release. To accomplish this goal will require an immediate
response from Coors on this issue.
I look forward to working with you to clarify this permit defect.
jn rely, ~ /~
-!/~~ . .
_=Shawn E.
