Permit No. B6-079,
Annual Report
FEDERAL TAX IDS 84-0517799
Our files indicate that the anniversary date for this permit is August 81°.
Operation continued as approved in the original permit. A Technical Revision
was submitted on April 15, 1992 to correct a problem noted at a normal inspection
dated April 9, 1992_ This pit HAS NOT been granted a Temporary Cessation and
it HAS operated more than 180 days this year. The Financial Warranty for this
operation is $25,400 the permitted area is 109.00 ac. ± and the pit is divided
into 5 Reclamation Phases. A sign that conforms with rule 6.7 Sign and Markers was
installed at the entrance to the pit this year. Please refer to the Annual
Report map for the location of areas discussed in this report.
We will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report questions as
outlined in Section 2.4.1 of the Rules and Regulations.
2.4.1
(1) No new land was disturbed this year mining continued in the area
previously stripped and partially mined, 44.84 ac. ±. The Plant Site area
on the east side is still in use also. The total disturbance to date is
83.99 ac. ±, of which 66.93 ac ± will be lake area and 17.06 ac ± will
need reclamation. We partially mined all of the area stripped except a
the Plant Site area on the east side of the pit.
(2) No reclamation was required this year. Backfilling is continuing in the
northwest quadrant of the property. we have approximately 5.05 ac. filled
at this time. The area currently partially mined will be mostly water
once the de-watering pump is shut off. No revegetation work was preformed
this year no is it required until recoiling is complete. We have
approximately 73,400 YD3 of soil stockpiled along the north and west sides
of the pit. We estimated 33,900 YD1 will be needed for recoiling purposes.
The rest will be used as fill in the northern section as approved. pl
A
