<br />ANNUAL RECLAMATION REPORT <br />MESA GRAVEL PIT <br />PEABODY COAL COMPANY <br />PERMIT N0. 82-036 <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />The gravel from this operation is used at Peabody Coal Company's Seneca mining operations <br />for road construction and road maintenance. During [his reporting period (June 7, 7993 <br />to June 1, 7994), approximately 7,000 tons of gravel was produced. <br />1. Location and number of acres affected during the report year. The Annual <br />Reclamation Mep for this reporting period, Exhibit 2.41, shows the status of mining <br />and reclamation activities for the Mesa Gravel Pit as of June 7, 1994 . <br />RESPONSE: <br />Activitv Acres <br />Topsoil removed ahead of active pit 3.7 <br />Active pit area advance 3.6 <br />2. Location end number of acres reclaimed during the report year. <br />RESPONSE: <br />There were 6.5 acres reclaimed this year. <br />3.
