', <br />FOR: File October 17, 2000 <br />West Pit Fill Construction Resort <br />During the quarter beginning July 1, 2000 and ending September 30, 2000, <br />I inspected the area in which the West Pit Excess Spoil Fill is being <br />constructed. The purpose of these inspections was to inspect the fill surface <br />for vegetative efforts; inspect the fill for areas of water seepage or surface <br />drainage and to satisfy the requirements of CMDG.. Rule 9.09.1(lla). <br />During the quarter no progress was made on the West Pit Fill. No <br />overburden was hauled to backfill in the West Pit due to spoil room <br />constraints. No new load of topsoil were hauled to the backfill above the 7250 <br />level. The 7250 ditch has been somewhat leveled up and is being used for a <br />haulage road while topsoil placement is taking place. <br />Attached to this report are my certification that all construction <br />requirements have been met thus far in constructing the West Pit Excess Fill. <br />C~ <br />Stephen R.
