The permit was completed and CSG was able to excavate in July.
The stockpile excavation was small because of limited space in the working area of the
pit. With the completion of the revision of the Limited Impact 110 Permit, in 2005 CSG
will be able to stockpile the crushed gravel just outside of the working area of the pit.
This year the season was too short to begin that project of site preparation (removing and
saving the top soil for reclamation) and acquiring a stacking conveyor.
With this excavation the reclamation of the north end of the lake was completed. The
1 to 3 slope of the shoreline was lined with boulders and a rock structure was added as a
tower rising out of the lake and cut into the bank creating a SO by 60 foot "kiva" beach
area with stone walls. There remains some cosmetic rock work to complete the beach
area leading into the kiva, but functionally the reclamation is done including the grass
and other flora growing to the shoreline and covering the dikes and berms all around the
circumference of the lake. There was no excavation of the south end.
See attached photos and map.
Enclosed is the $281.00 annual f e.
Signed: ~C~ ~~ Owner/Operator
