Box 68 <br />Craig, CO 81626 <br />RE: Eagle 5 & 9 Mine (C-81-044) <br />1995 Annual Reclamation Report and Annual Hydrology Report <br />Dear Mr. Mills, <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology received the 1995 Annual Reclamation Report <br />(ARR) and Annual Hydrology Report (AHR) for the Eagle 5 & 9 Mine (C-81-044). The <br />Division has the following comments; <br />Annual Reclamation Report <br />The ARR contained all of the information required by Rule 2.04.13, with exception to the <br />reclamation associated with the Amoco Pipeline area. The Division has not received the <br />map and final acreage survey of the disturbance associated with the Amoco Pipeline project. <br />Please submit Map AR-1 and update Table AR-1 with the appropriate information. <br />Annual Hydrology Report <br />Cyprus Empire Corporation has adequately addressed all of the questions asked by the <br />Division following review of the 1994 AHR. <br />All ground water and surface water monitoring in 1995 was conducted in accordance with <br />the approved plan with exception of flow data on the Williams Fork River. Data for station <br />WF-2 was only collected through September, 1995 due to the federal government shutdown. <br />However, the flows in the Williams Fork River during 1995 appear to be normal for the <br />period of record. Flows recorded from WF-1 and WF-2 do not show any stream depletion <br />impacts from mine dewatering. <br />
