Bazed on these meazurements it appears that the water levels have risen approximately 2 1/2 feet since the
measurements were taken on October 30, 1997.
Based on the rise in the water levels in the wells, we suggest that the water levels be monitored on a
monthly basis for the next 6 months to determine the Bucmation in the water levels. If the water levels
continue to rise, the stability of the pile could be substantially reduced due to increased pore pressures
and some type of drainage system may need to be constructed to dewater the pile. Prior to designing a
dewa[ering system, we would recommend that additional monitor wells be installed in the pile to verify
that the water is situated throughout the pile and at what elevation the water levels aze situated.
This report fulfills the quarterly
4.10.2(2)(a).
