ANNUAL REPORT <br />Operator: United Companies of Mesa County <br />Operation: 19 Road Pit <br />File Number: M-2002-110 <br />Anniversary Date: February 25, 2004 <br />This pit was active late this past reporting period. It was put to use on a fast track <br />basis as it was stripped, mined, and reclaimed (except for seeding) all in the last <br />quarter of 2003. The pit run was exported by truck to the United Companies <br />Railhead location where the pit run was stockpiled for crushing. <br />The pit looks so nice in its covering of snow -even has a small island which adds <br />to the view of the landowners. Seeding may take place in the next 30 to 45 days <br />depending on weather. <br />
