The type and approximate quantity of fertilizers, organic <br />material, or soil conditioners used and location of use? <br />Fertilizer used with hydroseeding of the benches in the <br />central quarry area consisted of 1,250 pounds of 18-46-0. <br />In addition, 800 pounds of tackifier was also used in the <br />hydromulch mixture and 3,250 pounds of a humectant soil <br />enhancer was used with the hydroseed. <br />6. An appraisal of the success of reclamation efforts, and in the <br />event of failure of any efforts, a short narrative on the <br />suspected or determined causes of such failure. <br />Areas previously revegetated in the north quarry area <br />with permanent vegetation have been self-sustaining for <br />approximately 5 years with excellent coverage by the <br />vegetation. Areas in the central quarry area continue to <br />show very good and self-sustaining growth on the first <br />and second benches. Overseeding of bare areas and <br />directly onto soiled portions of the highwalls showed <br />moderate to good sources in the Spring of 1990. <br />7. Estimates of the location and number of acres to be affected <br />in the coming year. <br />Mining in the coming year will be confined to the south <br />part of the central quarry area. A total of <br />approximately 15.0 acres will be mined out of the 59.5 <br />acre disturbed area with little increase in the total <br />disturbed area expected. <br />8. The effective date of the information provided is no more than <br />45 days prior to the anniversary date. <br />
