Long <br /> Division Director <br />Dear Mr. Mills: <br />The Division has reviewed Twentymile Coal Company's First Half 1999 Subsidence Report for compliance <br />with pemtit C-82-056 and Rule 2.05.6(6). The methodology and procedures used in preparation of the report <br />appeaz appropriate and incompliance with the permit requirements. The following comments are a result of <br />the Division's review: <br />A. Pane15 Right subsided a portion of Middle Creek. No discussion of surface hydrology detail of Middle <br />Creek is included with this report. Please assure that this topic is discussed within Twentymile Coal <br />Company's 1999 Annual Hydrology Report. <br />B. The Fitst Half 1999 subsidence report states that, "subsidence to the residential dwellings were as <br />predicted." In the Second Half 1999 Subsidence Report, please be sure to discuss in detail mitigation <br />measures taken by Twentymile Coal Company with regards to the two dwellings. <br />The following items require resolution from the Division's March 17, 1999 letter regarding the 1998 <br />Subsidence Reports: <br />1. The Division found several computation "busts" in the "Cum" data field in Table 1.Please review Table 1 <br />entries for Stations 111, 112 and 113. Please correct and resubmit Table L ~ ~--t--~d ~ -'/ r 3/ 9 5 <br />2. Twentymile Coal Company did not provide surface hydrology detail regarding the four "sag-ponds" <br />formed in Foidel Creek . Is this infom3ation discussed in detail in Foidel Creek's Annual Hydrology <br />Report? If this is not included in the AHR please include a discussion of the surface hydrology of the <br />ponding in the Subsidence reports. <br />Please provide responses to items no. 1 and 2, and assure that items A and B are discussed in the appropriate <br />reports.
