The volume of soil salvaged and stockpiled in
1989 was 69.7 acre-feet. Therefore, the average soil replacement thickness will be 0.7 feet (69.7 acre-feet/96.6 acres).
(4)A rea currently disturbed for [he mine area (see Exhibit 91.2, Soi! Resources Map. No soil will be replaced on those facilities which are [o be
retained to compliment the final pos tmine land use. These facilities include the high water line area and spillway of Ponds 005 and 006 (5.0
acres), and a 100-foot-wide section of the mine entrance road (19.5 acres), Road A (20.2 acres), Road G (21.6 acres), and Road N (19.7 acres).
The average soil replacement thickness for the mine disturbance area will be at least 1.3 feet (871.5 acre-feet/631.5 acres).
(5)Soil which currently exists in stockpiles (see Exhibit 91.2 of this report for sites in the mine area and Exhibit 9-2 of Permit C-82-057 for
sites along the tie-across haul road. Table 91.2 lists the soil volume for each stockpile.
