P~rmittee Name: • Sterling Ready Mix Concr~e Company, Inc.
" Permit No: M-76-056
Operation Name: Riverside Pit
Anniversary Date: 02 / 22 / 94
1 (coat)
The following is the current status of the area disturbed in
each lake area:
LAKE MARJORIE
4.90 Acres ± lake (blue)
2.97 Acres ± temporary sand pile (orange)
0.13 Acres ± backfilled area. (terra cotta)
3.06 Acres ± Roads, setbacks and earth stockpiles (i:an)
8.71 Acres ± processing area (brown)
LAKE ROBERT
10.48 Acres ± lake (blue)
3.50 Acres ± temporary sand fill (orange)
0.92 Acres ± topsoil stockpile. (dark green)
1.43+ Acres ± shaped and graded (green)
(2) No reclamation was required this year, however we continue to
do reclamation concurrent with mining. we have continued to
monitor the tree plantings and care for them as needed. The
tree areas are colored green. In addition the perimeters of
LAKE ROBERT were seeded with millet in the Spring of 1993.
Millet was use because it provided a vegetative cover for the
disturbed areas and created a winter food source for wildlife
that use the area.
(3) Mining will continue on areas previously stripped, depending
on the type and demand for material needed. We will continue
to mine into the sand pile areas this year enlarging the
lakes. LAKE ROBERT has not been mined to total depth and we
may resume removing gravel under the lake surfaces. The Pr~wT
8ixe will remain on the south end of LAKE MARJORIE as approved.
(4) No reclamation is required at this time since we are within
the bonded limits set in 1991. To remain consistent with past
practices we will reclaim any area that will not be disturbed
in the future.
