Also mining will begin on that portion of land approved by the Board of County Commissioners on May 17, 1990. Mining rill begin on the central North aide and Northwesterly portion, aad Droeee~ South, West and East leaving that portion fronting Interstate 25 undisturbed until the last phase of mining end reclamation. Tha mining operation to ba conducted viii be a surface sand and gravel attraction'operation. Tha operation viii consist of stripping and stc piling top soil; removing the send end gravel; leveling the wined areo end re-vegetating 1n accordance with the enclosed reclamation plan. Access to the proposed area rill be provided by a:isting hrul roads already located within Midway Sond 8 Craval, Inc. The haul roads rill be a:tehded as needed to the grass being mined. The Iwul roods rill l properly maintained by Midvay Sand 8 Gravel, Inc. during the life of : operation. The haul distance from the mining site to the scale 1s approximately 3/4 to 1} miles. To alleviate any dust problems on the access roads, truck speeds rill kept under fifteen miles per hour. All road surfaces era graveled. ~ will use a water truck with a spray Dar Co control any dust problem, . accordance with our a:isting mining plan. The mining equipment to be used is all portable, and viii not require any public services such as water, electricity, or gas. All corners of said property ere marked with a steel stake and ribbon.
