Appro:imately three to four lnehes <br />of topsoil will be removed and stockpiled for future reclamation ass. wa <br />will ramous topsr+~ as we proceed into the erase that era to ba mined. <br />The~propoeed area consists of high flee top bluffs, which after mining <br />will be similar in appaarenee; but will be lowered by twenty to forty <br />feet. During reclamatlon, all efforts will be made to keep the contour <br />of the area looking as natural as poaalble. <br />After the area is mined, thar~ rill be two reclamation methods: <br />1) the'pit areas created by fining will be used for future tare cells <br />for Midway's Cite reclama ton a. iaposal operat.on in accordance <br />wlth the operational plan contained in the Certificate of Dealgaatioa <br />for Midway Landfill, Inc. d/b/e Midway Tire Disposal/Recycling. <br />2) the aren not conducive to the above use and the area outside of the <br />_ permitted Cite disposal area vill be reclaimed to grassland, followinb <br />• those guidelines established by the Soil Conservation Service. <br />It has been agreed that the seed mi:Cure suggested by the Soil Conservation. <br />' Service be alternated as recommended by the Mined land Reclamation staff tc <br />include western wheatgraae end Russian wily ,~. <br />The areas exhausted of mineral a:traction and no longer used for stock- <br />, piling will be reclaimed in a progreeaive method.
