MANAGEMENT <br />The DMG's letter dated November 17, 1998 reiterated its concerns regarding the construction <br />and testing of the gob pile. Following are BRL's responses to the DMG's concerns: <br />1. No response required. <br />2. Enclosed is a letter from Lambert and Associates dated December 15, 1998 which address <br />its density testing procedures. <br />3. No response required. <br />4. Enclosed is a letter from Lambert and Associates dated December 17, 1998 which <br />presents a plan to test the bottom twenty feet of the gob pile. Please comment on whether <br />the DMG will accept the Shelby tube approach. It will take approximately 45 days to <br />implement this testing procedure from the time drilling commences to the time a written <br />report is available. <br />5.
