8.0 WELL INSPECTION
February, 2005
On April 28, 2004, the wells assocsated with the Ken Monitoring Program were inspected for defects andJor
repair needs and total depth. The Well Inspection Report is provided in Appendix A and presents the
conditions found during the inspection. Table 7, Manitorzng IY/eQ De~tb , indicates die total well deptbs
measured in each of the prior 8 years (1997-2004). No anomalous conditions were observed during die
inspection.

In September and October of 2002, EFCI, in cooperation with the CDMG, OSMRE, and BLM completed a
program to identify, plug, seal, and reclaim a number of old exploration boreholes and inactive alluvial
monitoring wells. None of the present monitoring sites were affected by the closure activities.
